Terms of Service
Last Updated: April 25, 2026Welcome to Athlor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Athlor mobile application and related services (the "App" or "Service").
By downloading, accessing, creating an account, subscribing, watching rewarded ads, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Athlor. If you are under 18, you may use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it when needed.
2. Health and Medical Disclaimer
Athlor is not a medical provider and is not a medical device. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease or medical condition.
Workout plans, nutrition information, body metrics, AI responses, calorie estimates, macro targets, and progress analyses are for general informational and educational purposes only.
Always consult a physician, registered dietitian, qualified trainer, or other appropriate professional before starting or changing a diet, exercise program, supplement routine, or weight-management plan, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, eating disorder history, are pregnant, are nursing, or are under 18.
Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, fainting, chest discomfort, or other concerning symptoms. In an emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
You understand that exercise and diet changes involve risk. You are responsible for deciding whether any activity or recommendation is appropriate for you.
3. Artificial Intelligence and Nutrition Outputs
Athlor uses AI systems, including Google Cloud Vertex AI / Gemini, to generate or assist with chat responses, workout plans, nutrition plans, meal recognition, custom foods, custom exercises, and progress analysis.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unsafe, or unsuitable for your circumstances. AI meal recognition and nutrition calculations may misidentify foods, estimate portions incorrectly, or rely on imperfect food database matches. You must review and verify all AI outputs before relying on them.
Do not follow any AI output that appears unsafe, extreme, medically inappropriate, or inconsistent with professional advice. Athlor may apply safety filters, quotas, and access controls, but dynamic AI output remains inherently unpredictable.
4. Subscriptions, Trials, Purchases, and Billing
Athlor may offer premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions such as monthly or yearly Athlor Premium.
- Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device and where you obtained the App.
- Subscription pricing, duration, renewal terms, trial terms, and included benefits are shown in the purchase flow before you confirm payment.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled according to the rules shown by Apple or Google, usually at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google unless applicable law requires otherwise.
- Restoring purchases may be available through the App or platform account.
Free trials and promotional offers may be limited by account, device, email, store account, eligibility, region, or abuse-prevention checks. We may use hashed device identifiers and email-based records to prevent repeated trial abuse.
Premium benefits, AI quotas, usage limits, rewarded credits, feature availability, and prices may change over time. We will try to give reasonable notice for material changes where required.
5. Rewarded Ads and Free AI Access
Athlor may allow limited free access to certain AI features through rewarded ads, currently on Android. Rewarded ad availability is not guaranteed. Rewards may depend on successful ad loading, completion, server-side verification, fraud checks, daily limits, and platform availability.
We may deny, delay, revoke, or limit rewarded credits if we detect abuse, fraud, automation, suspicious activity, technical errors, or policy violations.
6. User Content
"User Content" includes prompts, chat messages, workout or nutrition entries, custom foods, custom exercises, meal photos, feedback text, screenshots, and other material you submit.
You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant Athlor a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, display, analyze, and modify User Content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for your User Content. Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, sexually explicit, or that violates another person's privacy or rights. Do not upload images of other people unless you have the right and consent to do so.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for medical diagnosis, emergency care, or treatment decisions.
- Use the App in a way that could harm yourself or others.
- Attempt to bypass subscription, trial, rewarded-ad, AI quota, safety, or access-control systems.
- Use prompt injection, malicious prompts, automation, scraping, reverse engineering, or abuse of AI functions.
- Upload malware, exploit code, or harmful content.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, or violate the rights of others.
- Copy, resell, sublicense, distribute, decompile, or reverse-engineer the App except where allowed by law.
- Use the App in violation of applicable law, app store rules, or third-party service terms.
8. Privacy and Permissions
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Some features require permissions such as camera, photos, notifications, exact alarms, internet access, billing, or sign-in services. If you deny or disable permissions, some features may not work.
9. Third-Party Services and Content
Athlor relies on third-party services such as Firebase, Google Cloud Vertex AI / Gemini, Google Sign-In, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, Google Play, Apple App Store, and FatSecret Platform API. These services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Food, nutrition, exercise, and AI-generated content may include third-party data or estimates. Athlor is not responsible for third-party service outages, errors, policy changes, or data inaccuracies.
10. Intellectual Property
The App, brand, design, logo, code, software, templates, prompts, workflows, and original content are owned by Athlor or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the App only for your personal, non-commercial use unless we give you written permission. You may not use Athlor's name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.
11. Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may release updates, change features, adjust AI models, alter quotas, or remove features for security, compliance, performance, cost, or product reasons.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or platform.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Athlor or others, abused subscriptions or rewarded ads, attempted fraud, or used the Service unlawfully.
You may stop using the App at any time and may request account deletion through the App where available or by contacting us.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athlor and its developers, affiliates, service providers, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athlor is not liable for injuries, health outcomes, nutrition outcomes, training outcomes, decisions, or actions taken based on workout plans, nutrition information, AI output, meal recognition, progress analysis, or other App content.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Athlor harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your User Content, your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify you through the App, email, store listing, or another appropriate method. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
